On a planet where 4% (or 5%) of Wild Mammal biomass remains (the rest is human and livestock) and where ecological integrity remains at only 3% we must ask ourselves - Is this Coexistence?
We believe that we need to redefine our existence so that we are living on a planet in balance with nature and it's ecosystems. Work has begun on rectifying this and rethinking our use of land and sea scapes. Rethinking whether keeping animals at such low levels of genetic diversity to protect them from extinction is really protection at all and how we can build in frameworks that recognise the Rights of Nature, both as a way to inform and raise awareness as well as creating legal powers to protect.
